CITY description

Williamsburg is a beautiful city that is rich in history and culture. It is bordered to the east and north by York County, James City County to the west and south, Newport News to the south and east, and is wedged evenly between the York River and James River.

Williamsburg is a quiet and family-oriented community but also a buzzing tourist city that has lots to offer. It is comprised of some of the following neighborhoods: Ford's Colony, Greensprings, Kingsmill, New Town, and Chestnut Grove.  

The city features Colonial Williamsburg, Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, Yankee Candle Flagship Store, Williamsburg Winery and many other museums, parks and shopping attractions.
