Suffolk is an independent city in the Southside of Hampton Roads. It is the largest city in Virginia by boundary land area as well as the 14th largest in the country. Planters' Peanuts was established in Suffolk in 1912 and was the birthplace of 'Mr. Peanut' and thus becoming the 'Peanut Capital of the World'.

Suffolk is a gorgeous city that is rich in history and culture. It is bordered to the east by Chesapeake, Isle of Wight, Smithfield, Windsor and Franklin to the West and the James River to the north. 

Suffolk is a laid back and family-oriented community that is comprised of some of the following neighborhoods: Whaleyville, Skeetertown, Holland, Magnolia, Riverview, Whaley, Wilroy and Driver. 

The city features the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, Sleepy Hole Park, Suffolk Seaboard Station Railroad Museum and many other museums, parks and shopping attractions.
