LET ME HELP YOU FIND THE HOUSE TO CALL YOUR HOME
Born in Seoul, Korea, to an Italian father and Korean mother, Genny has had the privilege of living in many different places since her father was in the military. As a teenager, she moved to Newport News, where her father retired and has lived here ever since. She is a graduate of Christopher Newport University with a major in Government Administration with a concentration in Legal Studies.
As the daughter of an Army veteran, Genny is most proud of having been awarded the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification. The MRP certification is awarded to Realtors who help military personnel, veterans and their families find housing that lets them make the best use of their benefits and serves the unique needs of military life.
Genny also works as a freelance paralegal (which is beneficial to her clients as she understands the closing process from the processor’s side) and is a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Being self-employed, Genny understands the value of a strong work ethic and connecting with others. Genny is a member of the Virginia Peninsula Paralegal Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (paralegal membership), the Asian Business Association of Hampton Roads, and the York County Chamber of Commerce. Genny is also active in Virginia Swimming and currently serves on the Officials Committee as the District Chair for the Southeast District and officiates USA Swimming, Virginia Swimming, high school, and college meets. Her other passion is the Special Olympics; she has been involved with Special Olympics swimming for many years.
Genny lives in Yorktown with her husband and two children.
